Overview

Are you eager to launch your career at the intersection of business and technology? As a Junior Business Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the way we deliver solutions across the organization. Working alongside experienced analysts and business leaders, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to real-world projects that drive efficiency, innovation, and growth. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to learn, while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic, evolving digital landscape.

Objectives Of This Role

  • Learn by doing: Partner with senior analysts and stakeholders to understand how business requirements are identified, documented, and translated into solutions.
  • Drive improvement: Support reviews of current processes and contribute fresh ideas for streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity.
  • Build a strong foundation: Develop skills in creating documentation, analyzing data, and preparing insights that inform decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to gather and document business requirements, workflows, and user needs.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining business artifacts such as requirements documents, process maps, and user stories.
  • Assist with analyzing data and preparing recommendations that highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate actively in project meetings—capturing notes, following up on action items, and ensuring progress is communicated clearly.
  • Support testing and validation activities to confirm solutions meet business needs.
  • Help prepare presentations, dashboards, and status updates to share insights and outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Develop proficiency in industry-standard tools and methods (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, BABOK, Excel) through hands-on experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2026 or 2027 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors, recent graduates, master’s students, or entry level candidates with up to two years of work experience.
  • Candidates must be available to work 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from June 8 to August 13, 2026, at our New York City office. This internship is compensated at a rate of $18 per hour.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • A resume and cover letter are required; applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Please address your cover letter to “Hiring Team.”
  • Ideal candidates are either currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s program.
  • A passion for books is highly valued!
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or a related field (internships, academic projects, or relevant coursework welcome).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and natural curiosity for how processes work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive learner who thrives in collaborative environments and is motivated to take on new challenges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to tools like JIRA or Confluence is a plus.
