Job Description

Salary: $72,000 - 72,000 per year Requirements:

• Background in computer science, engineering, science, or technology
• Experience teaching or coaching youth aged 10-18
• Proficient in at least one coding language such as JavaScript or Python
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with restorative practices and conflict management
• Growth mindset with the ability to receive and utilize feedback
• Passion for youth development
• Integrity, maturity, and alignment with Black Girls CODEs mission
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check

• Lead the delivery of Black Girls CODE curriculum for coding
• Participate in training sessions for facilitators before the workshop starts
• Engage with students and staff as both a resource and facilitator
• Foster and uphold Black Girls CODE culture and themes
• Assist with the implementation of evaluations for Black Girls CODE programs
• Assess student performance and progress through various evaluations
• Adjust instructional materials to better meet student learning needs
• Commit to the full camp session from July 27 to July 31
