Warehouse Order Picker 

Location: Hammond, Wisconsin
Industry: Fresh produce distribution

Pay: $20.50 per hour

Shift:  All shifts start at 3:00 PM and continue until work is complete (approximately 10-hour shifts ).

Job Summary

The Order Picker works in a fast-paced warehouse environment selecting and preparing customer orders of fresh fruits and vegetables for shipment. This role focuses on accuracy, speed, and product quality to ensure orders are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and assemble customer orders of fruits and vegetables in the warehouse.
• Use equipment such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and RF scanners to locate and select products.
• Build stable pallets for shipping and shrink-wrap and label them with the correct destination and truck information.
• Verify order accuracy, quality, and quantities before shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace .
• Work with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping goals.
• Follow company safety procedures and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older .
• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Comfortable working in a cool environment (35–50°F) typical for fresh produce storage.
• Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work until orders are completed.
• Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings .

Shift Options

All shifts start at 3:00 PM and continue until work is complete (approximately 10-hour shifts ).

Available schedules:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 3:00 PM start
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – 3:00 PM start
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday – 3:00 PM start

Employees work 4 days per week , with shift end times depending on daily order volume.
