Pronto Staffing is seeking a professional and organized individual to join a local team as an HR Assistant.
Job Summary
The HR Assistant supports the daily operations of a busy human resources department. This role focuses on helping new employees start their jobs and keeping employee records up to date. You will also help with benefit questions and general office tasks in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
Help new hires with their start-up paperwork and background check steps
Post open job ads to websites and help track new applicants
Keep digital employee files organized and up to date
Assist team members with questions about benefits leave time and insurance
Make sure all employee information stays private and follows legal rules
Provide general support to the office and the human resources team
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience working in human resources or a similar office role
Basic knowledge of HR terms like FMLA COBRA and workers compensation
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems
Strong communication skills in English
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle private information carefully
Work Environment
This is an indoor office position
Work is performed in a professional business setting
Dress code is business casual
