ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Commercial Operations team is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic summer intern who is eager to learn and make material contributions to our team. The intern, in collaboration with senior team members, will learn how to navigate a CRM and will assist with user testing on a large CRM data migration project, as well as working with large volumes of data. The objective of the internship is to develop tangible skills, advance analysis into insightful observation, and implement recommendations. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

The intern will have the opportunity to interact with multiple team members and will be trained in the following job responsibilities: 
- Learn broadly about the satellite communications industry
- Learn how Salesforce captures customer interactions and sales opportunities
- Conduct Salesforce regression testing for a large integration project consolidating 2 different CRMs, and for new products to enhance CRM functionality
- Work with large data sets in MS Excel, including customer pricing, yield, and usage data 
- Clean, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and areas that require further examination

COMPETENCIES

- Interest in CRM systems and data analysis
- Pursuing a business or economics degree
- Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
- Experience working in MS Excel, Salesforce, and/or Power BI
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Pursuing a business or economics degree 
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite
• 3.0 GPA or above preferred
