Job Description

Job Summary:

 

Responsible for producing bids for maintenance contract and enhancement opportunities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing Manager to manage bid schedules and ensure all estimates are delivered on time.
    • Monitor online bid platforms for appropriate bid opportunities.
    • Review and understand project requirements, scope, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
    • Perform detailed project takeoffs using Property Intel, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam.
    • Solicit and evaluate project-specific material quotes from approved vendors.
    • Prepare maintenance and enhancement bids in Aspire using compiled project data.
    • Support Maintenance Account Managers by assisting with project bids as needed.
    • Develop comprehensive bid packages for large-scale opportunities.
    • Submit completed bids and review them with the appropriate Maintenance team member.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Required Qualifications:

    • 3 to 5+ years in landscape maintenance or a related estimating role.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and project plans.
    • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to convert various units of measure accurately.

 

Work Conditions:

· Read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

· Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports and professional correspondence using proper grammar and style.

· Communicate effectively with individuals and small groups, providing information and responding to inquiries.

· Identify problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.

· Apply practical judgment to follow written and verbal instructions and resolve standardized issues.

· Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds for short periods.

· Maintain visual acuity to read printed and digital documents.

· Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, carry, and lift for extended periods.

· Perform continuous and repetitive arm, hand, and eye coordination tasks.
