Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a full-time dermatology locum tenens assignment. This role manages a high-volume patient load in a clinical setting, requiring strong dermatology expertise and proficiency in Epic EMR.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Status: Full-Time Locum Tenens

• Duration: July through January

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Shift Structure: Standard 8-hour day shifts; no call requirements.

• Block Scheduling: Not available.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient Volume: High-volume clinic seeing approximately 25–35 patients per day.

• Support Staff: Robust clinical support provided at a ratio of one staff member (LPN, RN, or MA) for every 12 patients.

• Charting: Extensive use of Epic EMR for all patient documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Active New York State license in hand.

• Certification: Board Certification is required.

• Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Dermatology.
  • Recent, hands-on experience with Epic EMR is required.

• Life Support: Active BLS certification required.

Coverage is not required on the following holidays (defined as 7:00 PM the eve before to 7:00 AM the day after):

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Day

All orientation hours are fully billable.
