Job Description

Southern Crescent is seeking a  part-time OB/GYN Sonographer . This is a practice with a team that is notably dedicated to bettering the lives of the women of Georgia. With locations in Fayetteville, Newnan, and Stockbridge, Georgia, the practice extends a healing hand to women of all ages and from all walks of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be proficient in OB/GYN imaging and operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment in accordance with practice guidelines, including 3D/4D technology
• Demonstrate the ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy
• Assist physicians with sonohysterograms and endometrial biopsies
• Document ultrasound findings in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Coordinate equipment maintenance with the lead sonographer
• Follow safety protocols and use proper disinfecting techniques when maintaining ultrasound machines
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and work well within a large organization

Environment:

• The hours will vary based on need in the practice.
• Most shifts will be preplanned as needed. Occasional last minute fill in as needed

Must Have Qualifications

• RDMS certification
• 2+ years of experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer in an OB/GYN setting

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment

Environment:

• The hours will vary based on need in the practice. Most shifts will be preplanned as needed. Occasional last minute fill in as needed
• Location : Piedmont Fayette hospital and clinic locations of either Fayette and Newnan or Fayette and Stockbridge
