Purpose

The receptionist’s position plays a crucial role in fostering a welcoming and compliant environment for our customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable demeanor.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the visit, ensuring a positive experience for the customer.

Operational Efficiency and Quality Control

• Answer questions about products, services, and promotions in a clear and concise manner.
• Determine customer status and advise them of loyalty programs.
• Strictly adhere to all state and local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales and customer eligibility verification.
• Report any suspicious activity or potential compliance violations immediately to management.
• Ensure accuracy of customer profiles.

Administrative Tasks

• Input customer information into the point-of-sale software.

Qualifications

• 21 + years of age and able to pass state requirements for working in a cannabis operation.
• Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Discretion and professionalism

Supervisory

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Position operates in a professional retail store environment. Position routinely has to use standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly expected to talk and listen. Position requires standing, walking, use of hands, reaching and the ability to lift a maximum of 40 pounds. Ability to climb ladders to reach products on higher shelves.

Position Type and Hours of Work

This position can be either full or part-time depending on the specific needs of the store. Position hours are variable and based upon the hours of the store operation and business conditions. Weekend work is part of the position.

Travel

This position does not require travel.
