Receptionist (Part-Time/Per Diem)

San Francisco Post Acute - San Francisco, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Weekend availability preferred)
Duration: Limited-term position through July 22, 2026
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our administrative team. Your primary role is to be the face and voice of our facility, greeting visitors and managing our phone lines.

Note: This is a strictly administrative/clerical role. There is no clinical involvement or patient care duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors with a positive demeanor.
• Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages.
• Manage the visitor sign-in log and escort guests to their destinations.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and schedule appointments.
• Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
• Strictly maintain resident confidentiality and protect health information (HIPAA).

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with multi-line phone systems.
• Communication: Ability to write professional correspondence and speak effectively with managers and employees.
• Problem Solving: Ability to handle practical problems and follow instructions in various formats.

Requirements

• Must be available for immediate training.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills (fractions, percentages, ratios).
