Salary: $54,000 - 68,500 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior internship experience in a related field is essential.
- Fundamental understanding of programming within client/server and/or web development environments.
- Basic familiarity with integration and application security models and competence with various software development tools.
- Experience in an industry comparable in scope, size, and complexity.
- Basic knowledge of open systems object design methodologies, architectural methodologies, security practices, and integration techniques.
- Understanding of relational database technology, structured analysis concepts, and software design patterns.
- Basic project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong business analysis skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities to comprehend client requirements.
- Capacity to operate in a zero-code-ownership environment, allowing team members to modify any source file at any time.
- Basic understanding of deployment topologies, ensuring secure and highly available systems.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage several tasks and projects at the same time, with availability for occasional on-call duties.
- Experience integrating Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions within a robust change and release management framework.
- Technical expertise with hands-on experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL database development.
- Proficient with .NET and other contemporary programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and Oracle business intelligence/reporting.
- Understanding of the companys existing IT environment and related policies, practices, and procedures.
Responsibilities: - Engage in the design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of application programs.
- Enhance existing systems and participate in client walkthroughs and technical design evaluations.
- Assist with systems development planning and monitoring, including participation in design reviews and peer code assessments.
- Provide client and application support as needed.
- Deliver customer support for package software and its associated interfaces.
- Conduct software development while ensuring adherence to performance optimization and interoperability standards.
- Follow secure development lifecycle practices and methodologies.
- Conduct research and fact-finding to create or modify application programs, including collaboration with vendors to assess product quality, adaptability, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure IT teams to identify technological shortcomings and improvement opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry standards and techniques for software development, applying them to processes for development, testing, integration, and reporting when suitable.
- Perform basic system analysis and design functions.
- Provide technical contributions to aid in project planning.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned or requested.
