Purple Pachyderm is a small premium Pinot Noir producer aiming at providing a welcoming and approachable atmosphere for new wine drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Our venue is akin to an intimate old western style tasting parlor for people to come by and relax with a glass of great Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir or French Champagne. Our winemaker, Ross Cobb, focuses on complex Burgundian style Pinot Noir, and has a reputation for making some of the best Pinot Noir in Sonoma County year after year. Our location is near Forestville on the scenic Gravenstein Highway 116 North.

We are looking for one friendly sales associates with an interest in wines of the Sonoma Coast, a willingness to learn more, and someone that does not mind some food preparation duties, since we offer food on site most days of the week. You can expect a work environment centered on hospitality and building relationships with our clients.

Longterm part-time positions available (one to three days per week), preferably someone with a flexible schedule willing to work weekends and some holidays. We hope to find some suitable candidates by end of June, currently we are looking for someone to work Saturdays, but as the schedule opens up for Summer we will have up to two more days to offer.

- Hourly rate starting at $21 + tips and commissions
- Tips and Commissions are pooled and divided based on hours worked that day
- Coffee and snacks for employees while on shift
- Occasional team building dinners

Qualifications:
- We are looking for a customer service oriented team player, dedicated to making the guest experience exceptional
- Someone with great interpersonal skills is a must
- A self starter who looks for work during the down time
- An interest in wine and food is greatly beneficial
- Experience in the service and/or wine industry is preferred
- Business casual attire is necessary for all tasting room staff
