Requirements

A well-established wealth management platform is seeking experienced Portfolio Managers / Wealth Advisors who currently manage meaningful client relationships and are interested in a stronger long-term growth environment. This opportunity is geared toward advisors with portable books of business who want enhanced infrastructure, broader investment capabilities, succession planning support, and a more scalable platform for both clients and future growth.

This is not an entry-level advisor role. The team is specifically looking for relationship-driven professionals who have built trust with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and institutional-caliber clients, and who understand how to grow and retain assets in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing book of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships
  • Develop customized portfolio and wealth management strategies aligned to client goals and risk tolerance
  • Oversee portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment selection, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Maintain deep relationships with clients through proactive communication and planning
  • Partner with internal specialists across estate planning, lending, trust services, retirement planning, and alternative investments
  • Identify opportunities to expand wallet share and deepen client engagement
  • Support business development initiatives and referral generation
  • Navigate market conditions while maintaining disciplined risk management practices

Ideal Background

  • Current or recent experience as a:
    • Portfolio Manager
    • Private Wealth Advisor
    • Financial Advisor
    • Wealth Manager
    • Managing Director / Senior Advisor
  • Existing portable book of business and direct ownership of client relationships
  • Experience working with affluent and high-net-worth clients
  • Strong understanding of investment management, portfolio strategy, and financial planning
  • CFP, CFA, CIMA, ChFC, or similar credentials strongly preferred
  • Background coming from larger wirehouses, regional firms, private banks, RIAs, or boutique wealth platforms
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long-term platform growth
