The beneficiary will provide care for the employers household children including supervising daily activities, ensuring their safety, preparing meals and snacks for the children, assisting with feeding the children as needed, and performing child-related housekeeping duties such as cleaning up after the children, organizing their belongings, and doing childrens laundry. The duties are limited to childcare and do not include general household management or unrelated domestic work.Proficiency in Portuguese is not required for the job. Children are learning Portuguese, and a potential applicant would have to help facilitate that process but would not need to be proficient in PortugueseJob Requirements:High school diploma and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related role caring for multiple children ranging in age from 2-6 years;4 years of experience caring for children; caring for multiple children at the same time; special needs caregiving; assisting with homework and arts and crafts projects; assisting with activities supporting language development and communication skills; arranging and supervising playdates; and with age-appropriate fitness activities for children and promoting active lifestyle;Experience driving and navigating major metropolitan areas;Must possess valid CPR Certification and have experience or certification in water safety;Must not have a history of driving citations, criminal offenses, civil lawsuits, financial or legal issues, or smoking, alcohol, or drug use. Comprehensive background check required.The position does not involve job-related travel outside of the normal worksite. Any travel will be incidental and limited to local transportation within Metropolitan Statistical Area(MSA) for childcare-related activities, such as transporting the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, medical appointments, and other routine daily activities.
